FSDS intends to contribute in policy formulation through accommodating different and diverse nationalistic views in order to formalize self-identification of Bangladesh as a sovereign country within regional and global platform. It recognizes Bangladesh as a formidable power with its geo-political stand point and young energetic homogeneous population. It seeks a pro-active role of Bangladesh in availing all opportunities for achieving national interest aligning with national and international rules and conventions. FSDS aims to find challenges and opportunities, and choice on courses of action therefrom, so as to assist leadership to make best decisions. It’s all activities are pivotal to a non-partisan approach, inclusive and resilient, to accommodate ideas based on well-researched analyses, debates and survey. In doing so, it seeks to make connections to all tiers and segments of society, political parties, decision-makers in the government, organizational stakeholders, business communities and academia including international entities. Guided by our moto ‘Bangladesh First’ the mandate of FSDS is to conduct in-depth research to develop a unified patriotic view for shaping the future of Bangladesh through righteous decision(s).
